You might try changing wheel size, If they are 33" try 36" That is the only thing I can come up with. Sounds like a strange problem?

My guess is you have some type of material between the points and the stock rail. Try using a fine grit sand paper (600 or better) place the sand paper (folded) between the point and the stock rail, hold a little bit of pressure on the point and sand back an forth. remove the sand paper and...

The Aztec, and the older Center Line do not use any track power so they would be OK for DCC. I did not have any information on the Atlas unit, so I don't know.

I am not sure if it will make any differance or not, the blue wire is the hot wire- the white provides the ground. I would try the resistor on the blue wire and see if it would change?

Well you could speed some $$ and get the new auto index unit-- about $300.00 if I recall. Or build your own using the manual Atlas unit- make you own drive- The table top mount unit will need work to look good- and the motor drive is a geneva drive set up.

I just did a search on Athearn looked at F-7 units with sound and DCC. There is a manual on line that tells you how the mars light works- I did not see where there was anything for ditch lights. Your manual should help you---if not to there site,and look for support. At this time I don't think...
