    Crazy detailing

How about a beat up pick- up truck with a gun rack in the back or a matching confederate flag hanging across the back window. ;) ;) Geesh - I've been living in Texas too long!!:D :D What you've done in the back of the building really looks great!

    Jersey Central Reefer

The weathering you have done on this one and the gondola (?) look as good as anything I've seen in Model RR magazine. Maybe you should send them some pictures and an article on how you did it. Don't sell yourself short. You've done a great job and are very talented. That's why I enjoy...

    Banged Up N&W Gondola

I love what you've done. It's amazing what you can do with acrylic craft paints. Why windshield washer fluid, if I might ask?

He is a great guy. He doesn't always understand my interest in this hobby, but he knows that it draws business. Actually we didn't take up as much space as it looked. But the restaurant is pretty good sized. Thanks for all the kind words and the support. I think, to me, that is what sets...

Say hello to the KS&Z : Knoth Soh & Zmall

With a little ingenuity you can have a train layout anywhere. I guess that's why I love N scale. Hope to see more of what you have going soon.

    Appreciating Wildlife

Well, I'm not sure about BBQ sauce, but how about: Moose Tenderloin Medallions sauteed in butter with fresh garlic, scallions and fresh black pepper drizzled with a red wine mushroom sauce and served with garlic cheddar mashed potatoes, roasted primavera vegetables and grilled garlic bread...

Houston & Texas Central RR reservoir dam

We have tried to interest the Historial Society in Allen that helped rebuild the train depot to put a scale model (either N or HO) of the stone dam and old pump house and such. Who knows?

Thanks for the feedback. One of the things that I stressed in the interview with the paper was this was hobby that was great for kids and parents. Contrary to popular opinion, you could have a working model RR in a limited space (we don't have basements in Texas - at least in the Dallas area)...

    Fullard Glass Co.

Ron's right. The details on your model are what sets it apart from the ordinary. Everytime someone looks at a structure that is finely done with great detail, they will always see something new that they never saw before, no matter how many times they have viewed it previously. I said...

    Getting Started in Model Trains

Welcome to The Gauge. I'm relatively new in this hobby too. There are many people on this forum with a lot of good advice and many years of experience. As others have said, read the threads and don't be afraid to ask questions. And, yes, do remember, it's a hobby - have fun doing it.

    Crazy detailing

Don't know what I can say that hasn't already been said. It a great store and I would never have thought of tearing apart a watch to do that.

This is the last one - looks like dad is deciding what Santa will bring this year - BTW, that's me in the background in front of the pictures. Thanks for letting us share our pictures. We'll probably do this again this October and hopefully next time will have some free promotion from...
