    need some guidence...please!

Who says the company(ies) that are along there didn't buy land on both sides of the rail. Then built portions on both sides and attached them overtop of the mainline. Since the company could not use the mainline to get goods off loaded they use the extensions and haul things over the rail to...

    Flat car help...Please!

TomPM- Thanks for the link. I've seen their stuff. Looks good. :thumb: MasonJar- Been thinking on that, too. :) The biggest reasons I was thinking of actual wood is because it's only 2 flats, they will be "fastened" to one spot, very close to the viewer, in a diorama. I was looking...

I've got the picture, too. Ain't it cool! Got mine from a friend for doing a 5-minute job on his PC. Makes ya' wonder if anybody was using their real name on the trip. And that news most have moved a lot slower then. Not like the instant (wrong) information of today.

    Wht I've been do'n... Pt. 2

Live Steamer- Thanks! McFortner- I did mine in reverse, since this is a Diorama. No worries! It's taken a year for me to get this going... I did more last month than all the rest of the time.

    Miller Engineering and lights...

Spitfire- Thanks... That's right you had mentioned that a bit ago. Can't remember which though. Was looking at covering the whole thing. All 1/2" by 1/8" of it. Looking at making it a John Deere sign with my friends name. So, top half would be green with the deer in yellow and bottom yellow...

    Kitbashed DPM warehouse

Glen- See told'ya they can kitbash well. ;) Only $30! ...is that HO? I was looking to make (in N) a 5 story Cement & Brick Curtain Wall industry a foot long over all, that came up to close to 30 DPM tiles for one wall. Anyways... that's another tale. Work looks...

    Kitbashed DPM warehouse

Sweet! As far as the evergreen angle supports... The N scale kits come with plastics strips to use as you did with yours, and for roof supports (you cut them to desired length). To an extent the DPM kits are made to kitbash, or build the pictured item. If the modules didn't run so much I'd...

    Miller Engineering and lights...

Anybody fiddled with their Expermental Kits? I'm looking to make my own sign. I was hoping I could make the "sign" attach it to the electroluminisent material. Then paint the "unwanted" areas black, like a normal neon sign. Also, I would like to wire it up with the LED's...

    Ballast Issues...

vanda32547- Since I'm on the other coast I'll see if any local stores that are over your side might have something. Also, You might try looking up the "something" & Sawgrass Model Club; they are in a building along the Tri-rail, right by or across from a Station. They might know local places...

    Wht I've been do'n... Pt. 2

Matt- ahhh! now I see. Great, I was going for the "been around for years, but parts of the place have been remodeled/updated, expect not a lot of upkeep out-in-the-sticks kinda place." (that's a mouth full...) :D Actually I'm wait'n on some paint in J.D. colors. So's my LP Painters from...

    Wht I've been do'n... Pt. 2

Tyson- Thanks. The WS Burnt Grass is what I used for the light "dead" leaves. The pic does distort the color, plus when done you won't be able to get as close as I was. As far as the modeling... I finally said, "ARGH!! Just start doing it... The others had to practice, too." :oops...
