    Rodger Young Build

Wow Elliot, sorry to hear about that. Sounds like your spirit is in the right place though! She seems to have regained full use of her faculties/body, but time will tell right? Steve

    Rodger Young Build

Hey Sebret, great looking RY, plus I like your support idea way better, mind if I "borrow" it? I had mine printed on a big office-type laser printer/copier. I thought it was a good idea at the time but now that I'm in the build and adding the alternate parts I find the color on the...

    Rodger Young Build

Thanks for the good will guys. She's okay now. She had what's called a TIA. A temporary stroke for those not familiar with the term. It was a big surprise because she's in good health otherwise. A warning sign for all of us I suppose, eat right, exercise, repeat. That being said I managed to...

    Rodger Young Build

Thanks for the encouragement Yogi! This guy is even bigger than I thought! Sorry for the delay folks, I've got the rear engine pod done, the scaffold section cut out, the extra dropship bay parts cut and folded, just need to put it all together. Unfortunately my wife had a serious...

    Rodger Young Build

Hi all, I didn't start a build thread on this model because I wasn't sure I'd ever finish it. But now that I'm getting close to the end I kind of wish I did. Oh well, live and learn. So the story. I printed out Ekuth's Rodger Young over 2 years ago but never got around to building it. When I...

    Normally I am a lurker . . .

Hi Webdancer! A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far, away, I used to live in Long Beach, down near Astoria. WA is a beautiful state, I wouldn't mind moving back some day. My time spent in IT has convinced me that productivity is overrated!:curse: Have you completed any animation...

    Patlabor Ingram

Hmmm, I was wondering about the scale also. This Ingram model is 33cm tall and is stated to be in 1/24th so it sounds like your figure is good. Steve

    Patlabor Ingram

Sean: 30cm to the top of the head. The antennas rise a little above that. I highly recommend this model. I mean if a noob like me can build it, anyone can! Sean and Ekuth: Thanks for the kind words. I'm surprised the pictures hide the (to me) glaring mistakes in my build. I must say the glossy...

    Patlabor Ingram

Just finished Paper-Replika's Patlabor Ingram. Great model, practically puts itself together. Hard to find cardstock here, so I used photopaper. Not such a good idea. It doesn't fold well and delaminates easily. Still, the model turned out fine. Kudos to the designer!:thumb: Steve
