    Build : Pristontale Archer

I glued a roll of 1p pieces into both feet. Yours is looking great so far! I'm currently sweating though the head and hair, already had to fabricate a missing piece but other than that no problems. Other builders have encountered a problem where the left leg ends up pointing too far back. I...

Missing piece and a Long shot, Anybody got the prisontale archer?

Hi all, Been putting together my archer only to find that somewhere along the line I've lost a major piece of the hair assembly piece 120. If anyone has a unbuilt archer and is kind enough to send me a scan of that piece I'd transfer infinite kudos and awesome points :) Not expecting it to...

    HELP with papermodels

I've built the p69 Hazel myself,it doesn't come with instructions but with a PDO that u view with pepakura viewer to get an idea of how it goes together, it's a jigsaw puzzle I'm afraid! I will say that the Hazel is not something you should try as your introduction to card modeling, it's...

Howl's Moving Castle - Epson Freebie

I found the pipes and chimneys to be pretty easy, just curl the parts around a screwdriver or somesuch and it all goes together very well. Or at least it did for 160 gsm paper :P

Howl's Moving Castle - Epson Freebie

I tend to use 160 gsm card, readily available from partners stationers in the uk for a fiver for 50 sheets. Not too thick to be clumsy to work with but not so thin that it ends up looking a mess. Takes the ink nicely too when it's set to best print quality on plain paper.

Howl's Moving Castle - Epson Freebie

Oh I see! from the looks of it your about right with it actually. Don't forget that any untidyness will be covered by those two keyhole shaped gears that go over the corners of the mouth. I'll try and take pics of mine and see it thats any help to u. Wait till you get to fitting the terrace...

Howl's Moving Castle - Epson Freebie

I don't quite see whats wrong here. All u have to do is make the points meet up, the shape forms because of that. Then u just glue the chin flap to the underside of the main assembly and the corner points to the sides of the main assmebly.

Howl's Moving Castle - Epson Freebie

I had serious problems with the wingstruts collapsing when made out of 160 gsm paper. I got around that by pushing matchsticks inside them, worked great!

Howl's Moving Castle - Epson Freebie

I've been having a go at this model for the last 3 months or so but I got distracted by my prisontale archer, yeah it's very forgiving when it comes to mistakes! I still have to attach the terrace and that big old propeller. Looks VERY nice on the coffee table as is.
