    how "complete" is your layout?

    Do you run "local" railroads?

My layout is (as well as myself) outta my head. It does however have 99% CN power with a cornucopia of rolling stock. It's running mainline only but still a long way to go for everything else. I just enjoy the trains running for now.

    Remembrance Day

Please do not forget to stop whatever you are doing and observe 2 minutes of silence on Remembrance Day; be that at work, at home or wherever. Think of the huge sacrifice so many have made in the past and still do for us now to ensure our well being. Those from the past (there are fewer and...

    peco switches

I concur with ausien, sometimes they just need a little tweak. I also spray a little electrical contact cleaner in between the main line and points because of their design (how they fit together to cause the diversion) and "scrub" with a Q-tip as this particular spot will naturally accumulate...

Its Monday 10-24-05, Weekend modeling accomplishments!

Also went to the Woodstock Ontario show on Sunday - didn't open my wallet though as nothing in N scale jumped out at me (or I already have it). It looked well attended, but as usual, valuable train vending space was taken up by toy (I mean toy) venders who obviously have no business (or nothing...

    Great Idea: I hope

That's a great idea. Seeing that we are all in different locales, it makes sense for a thread - Example; Someone asks " does anyone know where I can get an example of a particular (bridge, depot, car, structure, whatever) for my layout" And the respondant(s) submit a picture from their area...

It's FRIDAY 2-25-05, weekend modeling plans!

Working 12 hour days at the "big house" this weekend  - but I am pleased to announce that with very little fanfare, but a personal sigh of relief; I completed the final 15 feet of mainline on the Paris Junction THIS AFTERNOON. And ran a small 20 car consist around the whole thing with...
