    Why are guys so competitive??

I believe that often people are trying to prove mostly to them selves. Not always because they have the highest of self esteems. Rather, they may be compensating for a lack of self esteem. Competition is fun and challenging when it's mutually balanced. Not so much when its driven into the...

Columbiad Lunar spacecraft from Jules Verne's From the Earth to the Moon

Sweet!:thumb: I love classical Sci-Fi. It will be nice to see the finished model. I have alway wanted to build a diorama or two of scenes from Georges Melies's silent film Le Voyage dans la Lune.

    C3P0 - R2-D2 - Diorama

:-o:-o:-o:-o:-o I don't know what to say.... That's paper?! I can stare at that display for hours, days...forever. I want to see the real thing in front of me, photos just don't do justice to all the hidden details and tricks you put into that display. Is that image of Batman in the...

    U.S.S. Sutherland

Very nice!:thumb: I've been wondering how well this model goes together. It looks very smooth and clean. I started to scratch and bash a plastic AMT/ERTL Nebula, a few years ago...life happened...I started to loose interest....it's still in a box on a shelf. I love the Nebula design...

    C3P0 - R2-D2 - Diorama

Nicely, nicely, nicely done.:thumb: I've always thought that Sci-Fi models were never truly complete without lights. Adding a small capacitor in line with some of the LEDs should make some of the lights blink, right? This could add yet another element of life to the display. Inspiringbounce7

    what glue?

Any suggestions on where to fine UHU glue? I've always used Aileen's (all varieties) for all my crafts where white glue is needed. I love the stuff! I'm curious about UHU but haven't seen it around.

Hello again! My Delta Warp ship from ''Enterprise''

Reduction to 1/2500 scale Great model! I love the look the spray coats added. To Vahmp- try 22.6%. 144 meters is the same as 473.32 feet or 5667.84 inches. That divided by 2500 scale would make the ship 2.26 inches long That should bring a 10" model down to 2.26" length. 2.26 is 22.6% of 10...

    The Uhu02 appreciation thread

Uhu's creations most certainly deserve a spotlight. They are, to say the least, intimidating. Beautiful and stunning barely describe them. I cant wait to try to build some of his models (C-3PO, Robbie, Valley Forge). I'm only afraid that I wont come close to doing them the justice they deserve.

    Greetings!

I'm relatively new to the forum and to paper modeling in general. I enjoy SciFi and real space exploration and aeronautics. I love anything that flies, really, from insects to rocket ships. Professionally, I'm an astronomy educator at the Clark Planetarium in Salt Lake City, Utah. Aside...

    1/24 Northrop HL-10

Thanks for producing a kit in a much under-represented part of aeronautical history. For years, I have looked for models of the various lifting bodies. And the HL-10 was my favorite design. I cant wait to build one.
