    ya they wanted me to have a PET scan in 2004 but the ins said no, so i never got one, and they did not want to pay for this one, took a nurse and the doc most of the day to talk them into paying, lots of calls.

    dang, look at the overhang that flat car in the middle pic has....lol what curve track is that? i have a lionel husky stack car that looks like that on 036 curves. the car is 18" long i think, coupler to coupler .

    i had read somewhere that one or two of the track manufactures was going to a thin center rail, like a 1/16' blade. as it looks more "realistic" harder to see the center rail, i think the price of the track was going to cost more then the old style tho. i cant remember what brands now...

    spanky, are them railking flat cars? i like alot of the cars mth puts on their flatcars, but i dont think they ever really hauled cars like that in real life....lol

    ok, i did not go to work, flat tire, waiting on a ride to town to fix it, so i said the heck with it, i called in to work. i have sick days that i loose at the end of the year anyway. they dont carry over.

    up here for another day of work, had some light snow last night, dont know what it looks like outside yet, still dark out. the wife gets to take her boards to be certified as an LPN, so we will be in Des Moines for that, 120 miles away. that will bump her up another 4.00 pay increase per hour...

    doc called, NOT GOOD! spot there on cat scan, looks like i will be going to iowa city soon to talk to a lung surgeon. still dont know what it is, cancer or not. wont know till they take out.

    nothing wrong with running 027 or post war, i used to and still have some, but a year ago i joined the club.... and i got to see some 1:48 scale stuff run,,,, now im hooked!, now that i got my MTH texas SP im thinking of selling my post war 211 texas SP AA set. and i gaurd it with my life...

    true 0 scale is 1:48 in the USA, i THINK that 1:43 is what the brits call o scale, or 00. in the USA at least its hard to find 1:48 scale cars and trucks, but it can be done. most use 1:43 and 1:50 as substitute. as far as i know anything that is 027 is not true 0- scale. i used to have...

    well i did not get any trains for x.mas,, (i knew i would not...lol) but i did get a new 19 volt craftsmen cordless 1/2 drill/driver! one of the higher end ones. look out now!, ill be able to throw bench work together at a rapid rate. told the wife what i could do with it and the upstairs...
