Can someone help clear this up?

Bob, All DCC systems suggest running non-track items on a second power supply. Usually you cantake that old DC power unit and plug any non-track items into it's AC outlet (which is usually 12 Volts). The LS150 is designed to handle up to 6 different turnouts, the manual states the following...

    queston about wireing....

Well steave, that's a complicated loaded question. hey everyone, i have a dilema.....

Roundhouses are still in use, however most turntables have been replaced with a tree of Wye's for the roundhouse. this is due to two things, one being it's cheaper to maintain a bunch of switches than it is a single turntable, and two deisel engines really don't have to be turned. if a deisel...

    Expand the Beach Railroad?

Yea, that lone siding is the best place to add the other section to it. kinda make it modular then. although if you want to make it an interchange point, you might want to double track it for an east bound and a west bound setup. Hopefully that minor change won't upset the scenery to much.

    N-Scale Layout

Brakie, it's almost a given that if you run steam, you must have a Roundhouse :p . Steam and roundhouses go hand in hand, and just doesn'yt look right to have a steam layout without at least a turntable.
