    Life-Like: Good, Bad, or Ugly?

Used to have two GP38-2, the ones which has got two spring to move the gears. It does look plasticky but ran well. I put it on test where i ran it continuously for about 7 hours with 6-8 tankers. After 7 hours, it did get abit noisy but after lubing, was quiet. They are not really good for...

    Life-Like Little Joe Set

Yeah, i was probably lucky. There was one problem though, it had contact issues. That was solved by cleaning the contact points. I heard the new run even has headlight, too bad mine doesnt.

    Life-Like Little Joe Set

My first N scale trainset was a Little Joe trainset by LL and it was the best way to get into the N scale(atleast for me). I decided to go with N scale, once i saw N scale trains can be very detail and run as smooth. My Little Joe steamer is smooth, quiet and strong puller. When i couple him up...

    Undecorated F40PH

Hmm, i thought Kato did, i guess i have to go with Spectrum but do they manufacture undecorated ones? We've had that LL toy before in the club, very noisy and runs terrible. Good for beginners though.

    Undecorated F40PH

I have been looking around for undecorated F40PH locomotive. The only one i have came across was Bachmann's Spectrum ones but even those were on Ebay, which are the older run. I prefer to buy from an online store. Does Kato have undecorated F40PH? I would go with Kato anyday. My intention is...

    Kato AC4400 Issue

I had to use the longer shank on my SD90MAC for my layout which has got 9 3/4" radius. The shorter shank derails my wagons. They look horrible though.

Help! looking for HO Dash 9 -44CW

Japanese prototype can somewhat be dull to the American modellers. Here's an example of diesel and electric locomotive. These are all N scale, their HO locomotives cost a bomb and are quite rare. http://www.keretapi.com/store/images/uploads/dd54l.jpg...
