Yeah, i was probably lucky. There was one problem though, it had contact issues. That was solved by cleaning the contact points. I heard the new run even has headlight, too bad mine doesnt.

Hmm, i thought Kato did, i guess i have to go with Spectrum but do they manufacture undecorated ones? We've had that LL toy before in the club, very noisy and runs terrible. Good for beginners though.

I have been looking around for undecorated F40PH locomotive. The only one i have came across was Bachmann's Spectrum ones but even those were on Ebay, which are the older run. I prefer to buy from an online store. Does Kato have undecorated F40PH? I would go with Kato anyday. My intention is...

I had to use the longer shank on my SD90MAC for my layout which has got 9 3/4" radius. The shorter shank derails my wagons. They look horrible though.
