    Spectrum 8-40C Performance

I'm a big fan of 8-40c. Got one from Bachmann, the old run and it's terrible. It was smooth and quiet but quality is terrible. The worse happened when the holes for the screws which holds on the cover to the chassis got bigger. Means i can screw the body back. Then all of a sudden the loco just...

Good money after bad or you get what you pay for

I have done this before, bought a Model Power Alco 420 and Bachmann Dash 8-40C(old run) just for the sake of increasing my locomotive number, and they are just junks. I still dont regret getting those cheapo LL 50FT boxcars though. I cant learn weathering on a Atlas or MT car, hehe.

    Model Power products?

I had a Model Power Alco 420. It can pull 100 wagons, only problem is that they are invisible. But seriously, terrible puller. Suffers to pull itself around the track.

    Model Power products?

Usually they are said to be worse than Bachmann but i do have a small Model Power switcher. It was cheap and works great. Not sure about their other products tough.

Light Rail trains in N scale

Too bad, i was particularly interested in the Oregon's LRV. I guess i have to stick with Japanese prototypes.
