Here's the 3D print of the DImorphodon sculpt on which the papercraft version is based, colour design is the same as the paper version. This is the 1/5th scale version and I've painted it with Vallejo model color. A lot went into this model and a few things changed from the project's start to...

Another very old piece I re-discovered recently, must've done this about 15 years ago if not before, this was done as an emblem/logo for a bridal wear shop in a secluded side street in Durham City. Don't know what happened to the business but I noticed the shop dissappeared a while back. There...

I sometimes make renders of my skull models to serve as placeholders on my Shapeways shop while I'm waiting to get photography sorted. Most of these were made with Cycles, Blender's path-tracing renderer though some of the earlier skulls must've been done with the old Blender internal renderer...

Tutorials are maybe something I'll consider in the future, my current PC isn't up to scratch for recent Blender versions (2.8+ series). I've done a few W.I.P.s (on Dinotoy forum and Blender Artists) where I show the main points of my methods. A few more with girls-

Another 2D/3D mix from wayback. Unlike the classroom pic, I directly traced over scene elements from the 3D render. This one's a good example of how I often change elements from sketch to final such as the pose of the girl and the hairstyle of the mum.

Never finisheds this project. Got about 2/3rds of the way through. Pretty happy with the way the skin texture was coming out but at some point I decided I wasn't happy with the base mesh and abandoned it. Might have another go at an elephant some day. There's a W.I.P. thread on Blender Artists...

Unfortunately I'd make a terrible teacher :). Styracosaurus albertensis skull I made a couple of years ago, based on the holotype specimen at the Canadian Museum of Nature. Haven't sold that many of these, my triceratops skull has always been a much bigger seller. I guess it comes down to...

I've no sense of occasion, I love spiders all year round! :). A few years ago I was experimenting with mixing 2D and 3D so the scene elements and view are worked out in blender and the final picture was drawn/painted on iPad.

I designed this spider because I wanted to have a try at making a jointed model. Each leg has a ball joint at the root and a 'knee' hinge. It's completely built using subdivision surfaces with heavy reliance on Blender's sub-D edge creasing. It works well enough but with Shapeways pricing it's...

As someone with a love/hate relationship with computers I recognise your annoyance, good luck with the new PC.

3D printed Mosasaurus hoffmannii skull I sculpted in Blender last year. Based on the type specimen MNHN AC 9648, discovered around 240 years ago! Here's the link to my Mosa skull W.I.P. thread on the Dinotoy forum if anyone is interested in how I researched and built this model.

Thanks, I post in a few places as well as here, very occasionally I find someone has found one of my images and put it somewhere new. A few more old iPad pics I made about 5 to 7 years ago I think. Mostly just personal messing about but the Squirrel guy was requested by someone who was...

Thanks, I'm a big fan of James Gurney but I tend to enjoy doing my own thing. This is my Velociraptor skull I made a few years ago, like all my skull models it has an articulating jaw. This one I painted up for photography is half scale, about 12 cm long.

A few more of my old dinosaur skull 3D prints including my Allosaurus arm and foot (they are sourced from the same model as my animated skeleton).

Thanks, made this Trike skull in 2017 before I started doing the W.I.P.s. The bone painted version is printed at 1:24th scale and the bronze effect on is 1:20th.

Thanks. Like the steg bones, the rex model was based on and scaled to skeletal restorations, in this case specimen FMNH PR2081. If I ever re-attempt a rex I would model over the 3D scans the Smithsonian released of their rex skeleton. A few years after I made that model I undertook a quite large...

Here's the sketches/layouts for those iPad pics, sketched elements sometimes get shuffled around and scaled to tweak the composition. Made this old T. rex years ago, probably Blender 2.5x or 2.6x.

    Dimorphodon by Strick67, Take two...

Looks great! (in this case I'm biased of course ;)). Hope you had fun with it. I'd love to design another model. Maybe I'll find time to do one sometime but it's not a casual undertaking (for me anyway).

Thanks, Stegosaurs really did have high heels! Like all dinos they walked tippytoes (digitigrade) and in quadrupeds the heel is a fleshy pad behind the hind feet toes. My computer access is limited at the moment but here's some cartoony stuff I did years ago using Procreate on an Ipad 2. Those...
