Little update: I made the rear end with two arm holders! the other two holders are next! the holders are linear movable! also i thought i should make some pictures with two ships in the same scale for a size comparision

if i dont want to build some starships, then i create some buildings of my hometown SCHWEDT! Here is my latest work! it was a tank monument (T-34) about the liberation of my hometown from the Fascism in 1945! the monument was dismantled in 1990 after the fall of the Berlin wall! to the model...

maybe not battledamaged, but a bit aged! at the moment i have not really the patience for this model! the texture job on this model is the worst ever! :confused:

the Diorama is approx. in 1/72 with an upscaled (and corrected) version of ThunderChild´s NX-Pod

first time, that i see all 3 textures! Really cool!

i just use two of my early Vor´Cha versions (original textured) and did a kitbash! it looks a bit like a Romulan Warbird if i use an other nose!

dont forget to make an Uber-Vor´cha :D

i worked with a Makerbot Replicator 2 (not 2X) and with PLA materials and i´m still not happy about the results! the Resolution of 0,1 mm (or 100 Microns) is not good enough! believe me! Unfortunatly i cant change the Material to ABS, because the Replicator2 use only PLA, but i saw, that you can...

Ex-Astris gaves us a length of 500 meters and i found no other reference! in 1/1700 is it "only" 29,4 centimeters! okay in comparison to some of my latest models is it a giant ;)
