Thanks, Dave! I was looking for that very thread! And...bendy straws. *sigh* I thought of that, but I don't know why I didn't actually try it. Now I know.
I'm gonna have to wrestle with it without instructions. At least the smaller scale is similar enough to work with. And it is a shame that the other ships didn't make it.
Hey anybody. I found a good model of the USS Grissom (1:400 scale) from Star Trek by Martin Saenger on the website PaperCraftSquare, but I can't find any instructions. I found another model of the Grissom by Saenger in 1:760 that had instructions but the parts don't quite sync with the other...
I do indeed build for fun. And if it gets tedious or frustrating, I just back away. Sometimes I even crumple up the model and curse the very paper it was printed on. Then I reprint it and try again.
Aw. I don't like posting my building. I'm sloppy and not very good with cameras! :) But I will try to post some finished models. Probably on my turntable again!
That - is beautiful! Oh how I remember tubes and giant power coils. The smell as they warmed up. :) Sure, they're nowhere near as good as modern electronics, but they kept you warm at night!
Wow just went crazy on some downloads! Well, only a few. Soooo glad I can download again. Thanks to all you admins! Gonna have to go buy more glue. And blades. And cardstock. And ink. And bandaids.
