Pretty good. They're like the Bilteezi kits of old.

    Whats wrong with Atlas Turnouts¿

I think that they're cheaper to make that way.

    Whats wrong with Atlas Turnouts¿

Well, I've never used Atlas turnouts so far(All I've got is E-Z track), but I plan to. Why? They're inexpensive and my $5-a-week allowance is my sole source of income. I'm reasonably confident my locos and stock can handle them.

    My Sodor-based home layout

Well, the TV show uses Gauge 1. But that's impractical for home layouts, and is more expensive. Fresh pics coming soon, I swear.

    My Sodor-based home layout

Well, currently the floor layout is disassembled. Until I get the additional track and start building the tabletop layout it won't be put back together. In the meantime I'll get buildings ready. The next step is to stain the wood floor for the signal box. That'll be a nice touch. Then I have to...

    My Sodor-based home layout

They work as HO well enough. Anyway, I know I've been silent here for while due to focusing more on my other obsessions. But I'm getting ready to resume train modeling, especially since my allowance is closing in on my save-up mark and the garage is nearly ready for layout construction to begin.

Disused Coaling Station - photo intense

Of course, on my layout the coaling stage(when I build one, I have to scratchbuild it because I need a British one) will be anything but defunct. Guess why.

    F units and diaphragms.

As a Thomas fan, I use Brit terminology. In Britain, "Coach" is a generic term for any sort of passenger car.

    My Sodor-based home layout

Not really. I've seen pictures of Bachmann's Thomas stock next to Hornby's range, and next to HO locos. The Hornby OO locos are bigger the Bachmann HO ones, which match quite well with other HO stock. Plus, I actually think the composite coaches are 65' coaches(That's what my scale ruler showed).

    F units and diaphragms.

Diaphragms, or connecting corridors, were used on passenger trains consisting of central-corridor coaches. They allowed people to safely walk from coach to coach, and if the engine was designed to allow it, from the coaches to the engine.

    Anyone into the oldies

I saw somewhere in this thread that somebody had a loco with a scratchbuilt drive. That's pretty cool.

Check the loco's wires and contacts, there may be some damage.

    Spiders, Spiders, everywhere....Help!

Well, he should clear the spiders from his layout nonetheless. Perhaps build a cover afterwards, to prevent any more from showing up. They could get in the way. Oh! This reminds me of something. On Wilbert Awdry's first layout, there was a point when he hadn't operated it for some time, and a...

Building and Kitbashing a Walthers Cornerstone Refinery

Plus, a small drop can change the shape of a figure's hat, or turn a thin figure into a portly one.
