    Identification of Electrical Item

    I live in Esparto, about 20 miles from Woodland. I just checked the phone book, both yellow and white pages and no listing. I don't ever recall a company in Woodland by that name. There have been several that moved in and after a short time left. It could have been one of those.

    Foam vs Plywood - opinions please

    Val. I agree with Chris. I have 1 x 4 and 1 x 3 bracing on 16" centers, One layer of 1/4" plywood and 1" foam on top of it all . Works very good and the foam allows me to dig out small lakes and other things. Some modelers use 2" foam but I think that is to hard to handle.

    I have that Woodland Scenics foam junk and it will not hold the ballast no matter how I put it on. Just for kicks, I put a thin layer of white glue on full strength and when dry just peels off.
