    Ceramic blades?

I have something similar (edit - the same, actually), but there is a big problem (regarding precision cuts) - the tip of the blade is so short and covered with the plastic part of the tip, that it is hard to see where exactly are you cutting. Another problem would be that the tips are very...

    Yay... Looking awesome! You rock!

Amazing model of IL 18 passenger 1:50

Wow... He writes "I am new here and want to show this to you" so casually... It looks absolutely great. The interior must be so tiny! Whole model should be about 75 cm long (and wide), if I am counting it right... This will be great if it is released (any possible way) :) (I am still...

    swing wing help

Here you can see how it is done in Maly Modelarz's F-14 (it is similar what Zathros wrote first): http://papirovemodelarstvi.cz/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2641 It is in fact combination of gears _and_ push-pull rod. Model from Halinski has gears only, I think, some pictures are here...

    Storm Talon

Same here :) Never played this (PC game does not count :)), but the designs are _SO_ cool :) And I like this build, this is one very nice plane!

Wolf Guard Terminator (build) / by Daishi / ~1:10

Hi, FYI, the grid is in inches. Assault cannon took a little of scratching to make it look better (and adequate to the scale). Ammo box - added a few parts to recess the "windows", made the shells from a wooden skewer painted golden, and added the links to the belts. Yes, and the bolts or...

Wolf Guard Terminator (build) / by Daishi / ~1:10

So, here goes a standard issue Terminator Power Fist: Hmmm, not cool enough. Add some hoses. Hoses? Cool? No way! Add skulls! Much better. And now, add claws! Yes, you do not want to stand on a wrong side of this thing  It reminded me of a joke I...

    dreadnoughts (Patoroch with Newobmij recolor)

I like the weapons! Double bolter is my favourite, but the melee arms are absolutely cool, too. The styrene was a good choice. It could be done in laminated paper, but this way it is surely more rigid :)

    Walking Robot

Love the Japanese, seriously. This looks so simple, yet is so precise and so perfect... Their homepage is interesting (linked from the Youtube).

    Spirited Away Aburaya Papercraft Book

The prize is crazy, but it is not likely this would be pirated - it is pre-cut with laser from colored paper. That would be as complicated to scan/copy as to process it to a "normal" scanned papermodel. You can see that on the "Zeniba house" with the Railway, which is a sweet model, too. Still...

Wolf Guard Terminator (build) / by Daishi / ~1:10

Shoulder guards - when it got a bit repetitive, it was over. Most of the flaps were cut off and put under the paper to get the seams as invisible as possible. No scoring, to make the shape as round as possible. Worst part was putting the outer and inner layer together, but, to my surprise, it...

Wolf Guard Terminator (build) / by Daishi / ~1:10

I have those small flat round neodymium magnets inbound from China :) The prize the sellers here dare to ask for them is worth the wait. So in 4 - 6 weeks they will arrive, I hope :) There is enough work on this for the time :) I have some good experiences with these. It can hold the dull blade...

    dreadnoughts (Patoroch with Newobmij recolor)

It is a good idea, but I am not sure they would carry the Dreadnought by the exhausts. It seems as too weak point ;) And it looks funny, how the grapple ripped him off the ground with the ground still attached - you will have to figure a way to make him detachable ;)

    building my own snowspeeder

This is a good idea, actually, I think this is how the model should have been (regarding the "wings"). It wouldn't fit the paper format, I guess... Why don't you do the bottom part similarly as the top? Glue it together, strenghten to required thickness, glue to the top and then glue the strip...

    Texas ANG XP-72

The original Ultrabolt is 1:32. I like this version (this is a fiction, is it?). It seems more like an racer or acrobatic plane, but National Guard wants to have some fun, sometimes, too? Very nice build and must add I like the presentation. It is not easy to take photos of white on white...

Wolf Guard Terminator (build) / by Daishi / ~1:10

It surely does, it is a fine model to work with :) All right, bless state holidays, we got somewhere further (not much cutting included :)). But: Soles of the boots from a cardboard (yes, I know, I should have had this made before closing the boot). Weights from lead bullets glued into...

Wolf Guard Terminator (build) / by Daishi / ~1:10

Slowly pushed through the "torso" part. The small bits (seals, teeth, talismans) still remain, but they will have to wait until finish. The thigh part was a bit tricky - the strips were very thin, so the flaps had to be cut out after gluing one side. Connecting these to the hips was another...

    Lineas (Doll Type 04) / Moekami / ~1:6

An unfinished Moekami doll I started to build three years ago (!) fell out on me when I searched the closets for models for upcoming exhibition (starts this thursday). Right next to it were almost all the parts that were missing. Why didn't I finish it that time, who knows... So in a few hours...

How to superdetail a PAtoroch Leman Russ

17/71 (what?! They added some more ?!) On the photo on the right can be seen a "tech-heresy". The barrel is lengthened and strengthened by a plate. Somehow closing to the famous and popular "Vanquisher" gun. The design is not invented, but taken from plastic "Citadel" Kit of Leman Russ tank...
