Need instructions for the Imperial Shuttle

There's a *really* detailed Imperial Shuttle in my HD which I think I want to try building. It's the one that was on this site which I got from my bookmarks: http://www.konradus.com/szufladki/raziel/ And it looks like this: Unfortunately, it now has a "Forbidden" warning on it in...

    Super Star Destroyer paper model

Yes, it truly is a fine model. And it WILL crash old machines (just imagine how I figured *that* out. ). If you do decide to download the new Executor, make sure your PC can handle it. It's hard to believe they started it in 2002 and are just now finishing it. Gives new meaning to...

Incredible work! And yes, always back up your work! :thumb:

    Death Star Diorama

Lorne Peterson was at Wonderfest last year, and one of the miniatures discussed was the Death Star tunnel, because we were curious about how wide the miniatures were and how they were filmed(they seem to stretch to infinity in all directions). He told us about the materials used as part of the...

    Large scale Imperial Warships

I'm grateful to you for building up one of my models, as well. It's great to know that something I released is buildable (I got the same feeling when Wedge built my Moldy Crow and did such a good job with it). I am sorry you had to modify it; I really wish I could have modified the model more...

    Large scale Imperial Warships

You're welcome! It may have been mislabeled. The Imperial I is more squat than the long and slender Imperial II.

    Large scale Imperial Warships

Very nice work! From the angles of the hull, it looks like you're build the Imperial I Star Destroyer. I'm doing the II, though since there is a new model being worked on for the X-wing Alliance Upgrade project I'll probably unfold that one and issue it as an upgrade.

    Alien: Narcissus project

As a long-time deckplanner (I make floorplans of ships from Star Wars), I feel the need to tell you that you need to make sure your three views line up perfectly in terms of both shape and detail. Otherwise you may have a conundrum. Fantastic work so far, though! :thumb:

    Super Star Destroyer paper model

Well, you'd be hard pressed to find display space for an Executor in scale with my models. At the scale I unfolded the Star Destroyers at, the model would be 21.3 feet, or 6.5 meters long. Though that might be a good dining room table. You'd just have to figure out how to keep the food...

    Super Star Destroyer paper model

Hey TC, that first one is actually the Imperial Star Battlecruiser Bellator designed by Fructose. Something I just discovered: the guys at the X-wing Alliance Upgrade project have completed their WONDERFUL Executor model!!! Check this baby out...

    Super Star Destroyer paper model

Yeah, at least basswood! Such a beast will need heavy duty support. I think I can help out with suggestions and such. Regarding a free modeling program, nothing beats Metasequoia for both ease of use and versatility. Here's the download site: http://metaseq.net/english/ Regarding pics...

Model of meritorious mention Sulaco 1:430 scale

Have you ever tried using a machinist's square? It's got this big weighted end that makes it perfect for getting absolutely square joints and making sure the assembly is true. I am in love with mine; it's an essential item for doing work like this that is dependant on a near-perfect 90* angle on...

    Large scale Imperial Warships

Technically, you don't have to fold the support structures into triangular tubes. Just rolling them ought to suffice. In fact, that was my plan for them; I just included the ends so I would know how thick to roll them. That really is looking awesome! It definitely is an inspiration to me to...

    Large scale Imperial Warships

Great work! Yeah, it is a LOT of fun to lay down on my back and slowly "fly" it over my head like in the beginning of ANH, imagining turbolaser bolts flying past. I need to get back to work on mine; I love the Star Destroyer and need a big model of it in my collection.

    Outland Shuttle Build

Yeah, but WAY too big for my limited space! I know; I've got an Imperial starfleet under construction, but . . . well, they have turbolasers and are not afraid to use them. :p

    Large scale Imperial Warships

Sure, no problem. :thumb: I never used Vaseline. Too messy. I prefer instead to cut my own masks from masking tape and apply them via tweezers to the windows. It sounds tedious, and I thought it would be before I tried it, but it's really no trouble at all. Since I've card modeled for years...

    Outland Shuttle Build

Talk about dedictation! Here it is, over four years since the thread was started, and it's almost finished! Thank goodness; I am chomping at the bits to build this ship. I LOVE utilitarian designs like this, and would love to build this one. It reminds me of the description General Rieekan...
