    Hot Air Balloon

Ron, I am researching & drawing plans for a HAB replica in Sloggi "skin", since I am a big fan of 'nose art'. Can't beat the art on the Sloggi promotional balloons! However, my efforts will most likely take a while as I figure out how to manually 'unfold' the beastie. I actually would like...

    Lippisch P.13a (Luft46)

Unzipping Eric, I think the issue is the way the archive is compressed, it is not compatible with the WinZIP because it is 'double-compressed'. When I open it using Total Commander, it displayes it as an archive within an archive, something I have noticed with several folks' compressed files...

Anyone know where to find NH90 Helicopter? any scale any colours

The guys at PM offered some advice; I took the EXE for installing the NH90 and ran it, installed it to a folder, then opened the model using the utility and it worked! That was as far as I got with it, just too busy at the moment to explore it in any detail, but you might give it a go. Find...

Anyone know where to find NH90 Helicopter? any scale any colours

AP, I inquired around and apparently there is a utility for download at PaperModelers.com that can be used to convert MS FLight models into a format that Pepapakura can then 'unfold' (short version of process.) I downloaded it and was looking at it, but am still on the low end of the "learning...

PS: The C-130 is a 'paper airplane' glider design, not a "scale" model.

For the designers: MS FLIGHT models

Can they be used as a "3D" source for creating paper models? The SIMS guys do a lot of design and trading of their Flight models, which might be a cool resource for us paper geeks... if we can just figure out how to use their work. Just an idea... Regards, Robert

Anyone know where to find NH90 Helicopter? any scale any colours

If anyone knows how... to take a MS Flight simulator model and "turn it" into a paper model, then there is a free downloadable NH90 model at: 3w.airforce.mil.nz/gallery/download/nh-90-helicopter.htm (replace the '3w' with 'www') Sounds like a job for "Super-Paper-Model-Designer-Man"...

    UHU02 Tinkerbell

Curious Uhu02, may I ask about your motivation for creating the Tinkerbell model? Perhaps making your designing "muscles" stronger?:thumb: May I also say I find it is very nice. Good composition and pose - displays the character's personality well. Great art! I have begun working on it...

    a model U-1A Otter

Elliott, pipe dream as in "what're you smoking, anyway?" Jim, some true artistry. Thank you for sharing your work & (more importantly) techniques. One note on the colors - the star & bar blue ("insignia blue") is normally a lot darker shade, almost black in appearance under some lighting...

    KenLWest's B58 Hustler

How was it done? Just what is the secret of that natural metal finish? Special paper, or special technique? Thanks for the info... Regards, Robert

Newbie in Norfolk, VA [USA] says 'howdy'

Hello all, very glad to join the group. Just recently got interested in the world of paper modeling while surfing about and was very impressed by the range and beauty of PM models on the web. I've been a long time plastic modeler (primarily) though I do recall when I was about 6 or 7 years...
