Okay you electronic wizards - what are we going to do about the voice:grin: ? Apparently there was circuit for a cylon voice in the 1981 issue of "Electronics Australia" which used an XR2206 (don't know what the heck that is, but it was apparently quite havy on the old batteries)...

Nice! So far so good :D Super glue - I like it! Wood glue was a REAL pain in the A, but it had 1 benefit for sloppy builders like me ... it could be wiped off the mirror surface with a wet cloth even after some hours drying. I reckon it's one or the other, as anything like UHU etc. is...

There's a couple of free 3D software programs out there (Metaseqioa or something I think one of them's called) - there's a few guys quite handy with it on this forum I believe so you should be able to get some help. So build the model in 3D. This may take a while if you've never done any 3D...

Have you designed a paper model before? If it doesn't Red and you've not designed a paper model before you should definately have a go - it would be a great first model :twisted:

P.S. Regarding the card shortage - if you beta guys in the US are really struggling for silver mirror card I could always ship some over. I can get packs of 8 sheets for £1.50 (approx $3). It would probably be cheapest to ship them to one of you guys who would then have to distribute the packs...

Hi Red - Interesting idea. Not sure if the aluminium would warp sufficiently to make for an easy build, but I'm no expert. Either way I'd wait until the card version has been given the green light first (don't want you to put all that effort in and find out that I've made a mistake or two...
