    Rebirth of a Tyco loco

Looks great Heath. It's nice to see others put the time into a classic loco. I still have most of the locos I had as a child. Most have been rebuilt (restored or upgraded), Brings back lots of great memories.

Question for the weekend of 12-15, 16, and 17, what are you so proud about?

The proudest moment was when I realized I would be sharing this great hobby with my son. And it keeps getting better as I see him become more involved and talented.

Question for 11-15, what do you buy?

Most of what I buy is used. more often than not they don't run. Like Don said. There's a certain amount of fun and a lot of pride being able get something you paid $3 for at a train show and make it look and run good. Sorry to be such a bad influence Don.:D :D

Thursday 10-26; How Did You Get Here?

After finding the forums hosted by manufacturers and Magazines and got the impression that this hobby had become nothing more than a bunch of whiners complaining about not getting what they want and flaming each other. Thursday 10-19

I would gladly give an item that I have more of than I need to someone that needs or would appreciate it. I like the custom rolling stock as gifts idea. I actually received a custom car from a Gauge member. It's one of my most treasured pieces of rolling stock.
