    The Other Side of the Mountain Up until now, most of the work has been on the gorge side of the layout. For the other side, I decided to try a fall scene. This is the river side of the layout. And this is the other end of the tunnel.

    TrainNut, my suggestion would be to use the Kato 9 3/4" span across the middle, then use a 4 3/8" Kato girder span on each side. You would then have a pillar on each side of the canyon and none in the middle. The pillars wouldn't have to be as tall since they would be on the sides of the...
