ok, more pics of what i got done today....these run down the inside of the legs and there is a left and right side both in place front view now on to the curved pieces between the legs last but not least.. the bracing on the inside of the legs putting all this on does make the legs a LOT...

all i can say is.. if anyone else builds this.. be prepared to say quite a few words that little ones should not hear:sadno::bulgeeye:

Yes it is at first.. but once you start adding the bracing it starts to get stronger..i wasnt sure if it would and thought about what Zathros said about adding some tig wire.. dont think its gonna need it

a little warp , but once glued.. all gone a idea on how tall so far.. cutting out the inside braces for the legs..note.. 5 per leg..

ok, a "little" more progress on the tower. so far its been "fun".... a few nicks that i could spot glue back into place. so far i've gone through 20 blades with i got done. need to get a stone to resharpen just the tips, rest of the blade is sharp.one of 4 legs all trimmed and ready to go main...

Thanks all. Z..great idea. Am gonna look into this..and i thought the Discovery was a b#@&# to build. This gonna be a loooong ,slow build for sure..it looked so easy.. But i like to challenge my building skill,whitch is not "that" good ..its the fun of doing it

Ok, i went off the deep end here and jumped into "trying" to build the tower. This is gonna be a very long and time consuming build for sure. i printed out all the sheets on 11 x 17 sheets and started cutting out the main legs. A LOT OF CUTTING..:hammerhead::hammerhead::biggrin:.. as you can...

or how about these?? got them out of a old photo enlarger that was in trash. weigh about 2 lbs each.

I have a Epson wf7110 and it handles 110 lb paper with no problems.
