    Base for buildings?

Sorry, I need to be more precise :) Since the buildings need to be transported separately when going to an exhibition I need a good way to mount them back on the modules. I believe that I need some kind of base to mount them on and I wonder how you do it? I don't know if anyone could...

A little bit late perhaps but an option would be to use a background divider to make two scenarios. One with the action round the loco shed and one with an industrial area.

    Trestlework on the layouts

I use stain with mahogany color. Be sure to not use stain with varnish because cyano glue don't like varnish. I made that mistake and I'm wiser now :)

feedback on scratch built small mine

Looks good and it seems that you've done the best of your spare time. It's always fun to make something from scratch :) As said in previous answers, I also believe the size of the timber is a little bit to wide.

To me it seems like a layout with a lot of shunting possibilities and room enough for some interesting industries that needs wagons on a regularly basis. I would go for a paper mill for instance... It's really impressive with the hand laid track and turnouts :thumb: Good work so far and please...

how to add jumpers to Atlas code 80 turnouts

I don't believe anyone will laugh at you. I done the same more than once and now I always put a tiny, tiny dot of fluxpaste on the soldering spot before soldering and that do the trick so the problem melting down ties is over :thumb:

how to add jumpers to Atlas code 80 turnouts

Good thinking :) Reliability is good, real good :thumb: There's so annoying to put a loco back to work with a finger due to contact problem. And that always happen when I'm showing friends how good locos I have sign1
