What do you call a GP-50 with the high hood? Am I right in my opinion that high hood GP-50's was quite rare?

I recently bought a Bachmann GP-50 with roadnumber 8759 from Santa Fe and I've searched the Internet after a picture of the real thing but without any success. Is there anyone on this forum that have a picture of this locomotive I could "borrow" to my website? Here's a picture of my n-scale loco:

It's been a while since last update but something has happen. I've put a decoder in a Lifelike GP-20 See a clip from testrun.

Mostly I use my thumb-nail to clean track :thumb: If that would not work I go for the stick off an eaten icecream. A bright boy is also very good...

Eight feet, that's not a model, it's a real mountain :thumb: I believe you like things big :mrgreen:

Did you got your new locos? It will be good taking part of your opinion about them :wave:

No answer to the original question but anyway it's in the neighborhood. I use a common spraybottle that I've borrowed from my wife :wave: I mix water, white glue and a little detergent and spray it on with the spraybottle. It works great after some practice :thumb:

That sounds incredible wall1 Is this Bachmann loco so bad generally or was it a failure to just this one?

I don't know about manufacturers but the idea of a circus sounds great. A friend of mine has built a circus in HO and came out really good. A double track trestle, wow :thumb:

Inspired by your pictures Railron, I encouraged my self and have done my first attempt to weather a rail. I used Humbrol number 70 enamel diluted with white spirit and a small brush. What's your opinion?

I'm too are about to do some weathering of the rail so the answer would be of great help :)

I started to add some ground foam and that's always a great pleasure :) I use a mixture of white glue and water that I spray on to glue it in place.

The new layout looks great! Personally I love creeks with many bridges and you planned for four. That's good :) Glad you are on your way with the styrofoam and the roadbed. Soon there'll be some tracks too. I'm certain :thumb:
