The sidewalls on the aft boxes seem a bit too steep, but I don't want to talk bs. I'll peek through my references later today and I'll let you know. Anyway, you can mask it by breaking the rods in the forward boxes, it doesn't have to be perfectly straight from back to front.

But not by that much. It looks to me like the back sections are a bit too big, but hard to say without ortho photos.

I haven't unfolded nor textured the cockpit, but it should be an easy addition to the model, if you watch out for the part's dimensions. Should I send you the data?

By taking a quick look at a few parts I'd say the size will be a bit smaller than my X-wing, so around 1/50 -1/55. Hard to say without proper measurements. Edit: and of course, it depends on what you take as a reference for a "real-life" x-wing :D

I haven't understood all of it, but the textures can be always modified on the unfolded models if something goes wrong, so I wouldn't worry much if the process doesn't get 100% perfect results.

X-wing had a ship deck on it, I don't see why a part of a truck would be a problem. There were some on Falcon too :D
