Has this ever happened to you?

I used to work a job, twelve hour shifts, two days on, two days off, every other weekend, three straight days. The second day of my two days off was ususally the prime-time for modeling, the first was for sleep. Since my layout is in the attic, during the summer it was early in the morning...

    Bad Day At Ore Hill

Was try all day yesterday to get more than one post in. But the Gauge was acting funny. Anyway, here's S&W GP38-2 sitting next to Ore Hill. The track behind it is the Central New England main. There will be a small interchange yard in this area also.

    Bad Day At Ore Hill

Thanks guys for the concern guys. Ore Hill survived the fall in pretty good shape.(Testament to my construction???) A couple of minutes, couple drops of Testors, and it was good as new. I did make a change though. The station sign looked a little big, and blocked the frieght door, so I moved it...

    Childhood train influence?

I just like trains.......... OK...You caught me. Had to be growing up near the New Haven's Berkshire Division main. Dad would take us all down to the tracks and watch the trains. At the time, early sixties (1960's....I know someone was thinking 1800's...I'm not that old!) the NH was running...

    Weekly Photo Fun 9-12

With what you're doing, the risk all military men and women take, putting your lives on the line, and especially now that from what I gather on the news, things are starting to ramp up.... I have no problem with those in uniform posting pics here. I think other members will agree with me.

How about a scale vehicle thread

I know what you mean. They make some nice modern versions of big rigs like Trucklover shows us, but when it comes to everyday cars, and pick-ups, the manufacturers fall short. It would be nice to see some of the usual "Blue Collar" cars, we see everyday, and not the high end "Yuppie", and "Over...
