As far as putting the drive back together(I couldn't get a good pic, so I used yours), in universal coupling that mounts to the flywheel you'll see a slot or keyway. On the drive shaft, there is a spline, or a key. You may have to rotate the motor by hand until the keyway and the key line up...

The long metal clip, snaps on the top of the motor, and the ends tuck in under the metal clips on the trucks. The white plastic "nubs", on the bottom of the motor, go into the four holes loctaed in the bottom of the tank. I do have a couple of extra drive universals. PM me and I'll mail them...

OK...I'll be the first to admitt I made a mistake. But compare the hieght of the middle fan on Jeffery's Bachmann GP35, compared to the hieght of the middle fan on my twenty-five year old Athearn Blue Box, and you can see why I erred in the identification.

Its a Bachmann! Thats explains it. I read in a Model Railroader Product Review a few years back that the middle fan was the wrong size for the GP35. Also something about it being too high on the chassie. Actually, if I remember right, Model Railroader totally hacked the Bachmann GP35 on details...

Crap!....Wrong button! Anyway, before I accidently deleted my message cause I forgot to post the pic......... Not to be picky Jeff....I think its a GP 40. All the fans on the radiator section are the same size. On the GP 35, the middle fan was smaller. With that said... CSX GP40.

Quite a list Josh. Walthers did produce a 4 bay plastic pellet car a few years ago. Dosen't look like the one you posted though. Here's a pic of one I custom decaled for the company I was working for. I did three of these. One I kept for myself. My wish list.....Can I borrow yours?
