Nice construction scene! Really like those engines!:thumb: How did you make your roads? They have a nice texture, they look like our streets after they are rock-chipped.

Looks great! Love those BNSF engines! Impressive collection of double stacks! What are you going to do to the incline risers next to the wall? Are you going to make them look like part of the wall or scenic them?

    No more pics

I feel for you. I hate cameras. When we bought our last digital camera, I didn't trust all the moving parts (lens and flippable lcd panel) so I bought the extra three year warranty. Needless to say, we just went on a vacation and the camera lens stopped retracting. Checked the warranty...

The makin's of one nasty accident

I hope there were survivors. Hate to see wrecked Warbonnets, losing three and one time must have hurt the fleet. Did the oil cars leak or just burn on the outside? Was the town evacuated?

    A tour of my layout

That is really neat! I love how long it takes to go around your layout. You might have a blackout soon, one of your power poles looks like it is about to fall :-)

    Atlas Remote Switches

Yes, they have parts so that you can screw them all together for a big long block of them with only one set of wires to the AC Power Pack.

    Atlas Remote Switches

Those are the ones. I have seen where you can wire a couple of switches together that need to be changed together, but you would need even more switches to have them control different parts of the layouts at different times. Sorry i used the word toggles (I looked that up and definately wrong...

I always love when people point out how your new free stuff isn't any good. It's free. In my book, that is the definition of good.:thumb: Have fun with your new haul, and can't wait to see pictures of what you build!

    Atlas Remote Switches

The ones that I have is a three wire coming off of the motor, you attach that to a monentary switch that you move to either side and then press it in for a quick second. Off of that switch are two wires that attach to the AC screws on your power pack. My switches came with everything I needed...

    My Inglenook Sidings Game

Yea, I agree, the site that calls it a puzzle is where I found the rules for it, they also had the rules for John Allen's layout.

So..... Does Anybody Want To Buy A Train?

First question? Was the train set purchased by him or you? If him, be happy and use it as a practice layout for preparing to build your Z scale empire. If by you, try and find a way to get your money out of it. Good luck, sorry to hear about the constant changing of directions.
