Up in Salt Lake a lady stopped on the tracks when the gates started to come down, fortunately she came to her senses enough that she got far enough off the tracks that the FrontRunner only clipped her car, but still, if she wouldn't have panicked she would have been fine.
Congratulations!
Another reason to throw a party! We have a pretty large group of regulars that have a lot of good things to share and say! Thank for all you have done Brian.

Love this thread! I love seeing all these patch jobs. :thumb: I remember in one of Deano's threads he had a picture of Wisconsin engines and you can see in the background an old replaced Utah Railway engine, weird to see the red stipe and nose without Utah Railway on them. I love those pictures...
That is pretty neat. Are you going to put buildings on it? If so, are those building going to be changeable? How do you decide the order of the cars on the Inglenook?
To put words around the pictures, you need to save them to a gallery or photobucket and then use image tags to add the images...
Amazing! 10,000 posts, if you guys keep hitting these 1000+ post marks and I keep congratulating all of you, I might make it to 700! :-) Congrats Mikey, and thanks for all you have done, especially that NASCAR game that I used to be winning! :-)
You are doing incredible work! I am really impressed with what you are doing and I am enjoying watching your progress. It is really amazing to see how far you have come with this locomotive.
Those look great! I really like how you have kept to the standards and yet made the layout not be a boring straight line. Can't wait to see your progress!
Spectacular job! Really impressive and useful car. I have what I guess is a really dumb question, but I need to know. How do you hack up three vehicles, put them together and hide the seams? Everything I have ever built it is really obvious were the parts are joined together.
Home at last (well I guess at work at last)
Here is the layout on my desk, I found a wallpaper with lots of grass and trees so I will use that for a while:
I took it to my office last night and fortunately the monitors did fit, so it is already to be unveiled Monday morning. The wiring on the monitors isn't very pretty (hadn't thought about that) but I taped all the wires together so there is only one large wire hanging over the layout from each...
