    Reminiscing-First Train Set

What a great thread, I love reading all these stories and remembering back. I got my first train set when I was 4 years old. I came out of my room and there it was setup in the middle of the living room. It had a 4x4 board with outdoor green carpet glued to it. It had an 18" radius circle of...

    Trucklover's Shelf Layout Thread

I would go a darker blue, you can get light blue from sky background, but dark blue has to come on the trains and vehicles. Here is the blue I currently like: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=248639&nseq=1 I love that train.

    On Track, with Deano

Deano, you did really great job on the Alco! Amost can't believe how wrong it looked in the colors it came in. Those black numbers looked so weird. I love your pictures of the engines, I really like UP's lightning Flag scheme. That area where you take pictures is great, I really like the...

Here is my Rio Grande Picture. If you are wondering most of the Utah Railway GP38-2's are former Southern Pacific GP35's. And Southern Pacific was purchased by, yep you guessed it, the company that owned Rio Grande railroad. Ok, yes I know it is a stretch!

    On Track, with Deano

Thanks Deano, One of the guys that used to be in the train club built those out of the Kato units, those were great engines, Utah Railway replaced all of the them with Australian SD50s', yet again making it very difficult to model UR. They are up to three gp40's now that are normal, but...
