    Google Earth

TruckLover, Try Microsoft live (http://www.live.com) and go to bird's eye view. It has much higher resolution and you can circle around the buildings and can probably get the names off the signs. Edit: I can't use street view here so I guess that would be better. Sorry, Tried to help.

History Channel - another Train Series!!!

I think this thread "jumped the tracks." Maybe it "picked a switch." Definately, we can say it is "derailed."sign1 I like the show, liked watching them go through the trench in Los Angeles. I like how he says, "Can I do that?" AND THEY LET HIM! The glue gun was funny when he broke it and and...

    My Miami Layout

Really like how you are connecting the extension. Looks like it makes a good solid connection that will match up everytime. Your mock up building looks really nice, I can't wait to see your building, interested in seeing that curved back to match up the tracks. As always, can't wait to see your...

    New Southern Utah Modules

I painted the modules and moved them into the train room. It is interesting to me that when I painted them, the green looks almost black on my dark dining room table, but it looks way more green on my ripped up work table. Still like the color though :-)

    New Southern Utah Modules

Tom, Thanks. We are going to do some of them whimsical. Figured that since we can make so many modules, we can be serious in some places and have fun in others. And depending on the show, we can leave some out if we want to. Jim, I hope so, I can fit all the modules on the seats of my car and...

    New Southern Utah Modules

I put all the modules next to each other and laid the track down because I wanted to test whether or not my longest cars can be next to each other without touching. I tested the corners and even offset they don't touch, so it appears that 33mm is good spacing between n scale tracks. Next step...

    Weekly Photo Fun Nov. 14-21

After gaining altitude flying over Green Acre's Farm, a huge wind came up and blew Barney Secord thousands of miles off course and he found himself flying over a baseball game in Southern Utah!

    New Southern Utah Modules

Hello all! As our club does not have a permanent location to meet, we don't have a place to build a layout at. When we have our regular meetings, we can't run trains (a big problem for a train club :-) ) For the past year or so, I have been trying to come up with some way to build a layout that...

    On Track, with Deano

Deano- Great Shots! Always love seeing UP Flag Units! I love that picture of the end of UP maintenance and how the ballast looks more oil covered to the right of the sign, makes you wonder who does more maintenance :-) I love real world photos, never see trains around here. Our train club is...

    My Miami Layout

Cool! I was thinking that with those containers in the picture that you might be going modern era! That will be neat to watch you switch the scene between the 50's and 90's.

    Phoenix swap - my finds

Great Haul! One of the club members here has that doodlebug. I really like that crane! I have seen those buildings before and thought about getting the first one. You could try and make it look like this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wells_Fargo_Center_(Salt_Lake_City) Your G scale...

    God's Wonderful Railway?

I believe it is due to the similarity in funtions. Railroad's job is to keep trains on the right track and religion's job is to keep people on the right track. :-)
