Could someone point me in the direction of the exit?

We're good at putting up a front  Yeah, it's prolly the same one. And as you say it is all interpretation. Over the E-waves it is hard to convey emotion. Sometimes an appropriately placed smiley is enough, other times not. Personally I see little use in belittling (sp?) others...

For the Pennsy fans... Safe Harbor, Pa. (Baltimore and Port Deposit (PRR) on bottom, now NS. Atglen & Susquehanna Low Grade Line of PRR on top, abandoned.)...

    Weekly Photo Fun 9-26

I can't even imagine the scope of your layout. Is there a thread about it on here? I wish I lived close enough to visit and operate it, I am so impressed with just about every photo you've ever posted! Dave

    Weekly Photo Fun 9-26

sign1 Jeffrey: I must admit I used to wonder about your style... I mean AAR Type B trucks under an EMD F unit?? The blasphemy! LOL seriously, I LOVE the pics you post and have grown to really love the unusual locomotives you put together. This last pic was funny to me, the camper...

Could someone point me in the direction of the exit?

I agree with all points in this post, but don't you think maybe it would help if people weren't so darned sensitive? It's an online forum, affect your life it does not! Maybe I have lost the ability to be sensitive. I am a fireman and off roader and so hang out with a lot of crude individuals...

Could someone point me in the direction of the exit?

I didn't see a problem with the post you refer to. I think you are over reacting. Dave

    Michigan Coal and Salt Mining??

I really don't see anything wrong with his post. It's easy to misinterpret things on a web based forum, try not to be so sensitive.

    square or vanderbuilt?

Part of the reason the Vandy never got popular was stubbornness. I love the PRR, but I also believe the PRR was stubborn. Their designs were always superior even when they weren't. The PRR even went so far as to take arguably superior designs and modify them to PRR specs just because they...

Freelancers: Show us your paint scheme

I am interested in seeing the creativity of our freelancers! Post up your paint scheme, wether it be a photo of some of your models, or a concept drawing. I'll start with these: Old and new versions of the Baltimore and Potomac scheme for F units and Geeps. B&P's only cabin...

    Smallest Yard?

I would say 2 tracks. Most people have never heard of PRR's Jersey Yard. It is in Washington, D.C. near New Jersey Avenue and still exists today as one or two stub end tracks. It was never very big anyway, maybe 4 or 5 tracks. When I quit CSXT in 2002 it was still noted in the TT as...

    City Scene

The PRR main line was originally on a grade with the rest of the city. The main line as you know it now, elevated above street level, is the "new" main. The Wilmington improvements were made beginning in 1902. Much of the trackage that now exists at street level were there before the...
