What are peoples opinions about freight trucks in HO? I'm VERY fond of Athearn's Genesis freight trucks, I have a few Kadees and love them too. The rest are just plastic stock ones which I intend to replace over time. What do you guys suggest? Stick with Kadee? Or is there other brands out there...

How did you get such a real rust look to those tracks? Any secrets or tips? Or is it just sitting it some water for awhile?

For the people with the Kato's: I bought a Kato NS SD80MAC, and I thought the detail part would be real hard to put it. NOT AT ALL!!! Just find a nice pair of fine tipped needle nose pilers and go to work! The only things that needed glue on the SD80 was the nose step ladders, but other then...

Deano, where did you get that DD40AX from and who makes it? I have the Kato SD90MAC and that DD would look REALLY good MU'ing with the 90MAC!! Decades seperate there use, I know, but still, model railroading has no boundries! :D
