    Airbrushing on White Metal

Yes indeed, yellow and orange are especially transparent colors. They should always be primed with white. Floquil doesn't make a true primer in white but the white color should work fine. If you do want a true white metal primer try using one of the white primers for painting those metal role...

    Motor Brushes

Second on what Freddy said. Also if you can find a round "lumber pencil" (not the ones with blue or red lead) they will work.

    Motor Brushes

No kidding on the fix  :) Just be sure its hard lead.....not the soft kind they gave you to write with in the second grade :D :D Pencil lead and motor brushes (for the most part) are nothing but hard graphite which is electrically conductive :thumb:

I give up (painting tiny vehicles)

The Robber Barron Reveals All!! Get a bottle of Model Master Silver Chrome Trim. Mix it well. To apply it to the chromed areas load your brush heavily and just flow it on...DO NOT try to brush it. Not as good as foil but passable :) :thumb: A "nutter" good trick.....If you can't get the...

    Con-Cor passenger cars

Essentially, Con-Cor N and HO passenger cars are made by Rivarossi (at least they were). Good quality and detail. The wheels on some though left something to be desired and were better replaced. BTW...All of my relatives live in Alexandria, VA.

    Motor Brushes

Down and Dirty Fix If they are the drop in kind the lead from a hard lead pencil will work. If its too big just "size" it with a piece of sandpaper.

    Mini video cams

Fyi Guys, Be aware that a 9V Rechargable battery is not 9 V. Its actually 7.5 volts and charges at 10 -10.5v. They are made up of 6 1.25v cells. (6 x 1.25 = 7.5) Most 9v devices will operate at the lower voltage. Since nic-cads normally charge at 2.5 - 3.0 volts above rating you must...

Back when we were told that we had to limit our picture size we were also told that animated signatures and avatars were prohibited. Has that restriction been lifted? May we now use them even if they are not linked from other web space? Ain't complaining....just curious.
