I'm not sure about the Blueline engines with a decoder installed,but with my Paragon model all those sounds worked automatically.I only needed help for the horn,bell and of course some mechanical features. Chris

Hey Kevin, Since you have had to clean your track already maybe your engines are having the same problem?Wouldn't hurt to give the wheels and insides of your engines a good cleaning also. Keep the updates coming. Chris

As MasonJar mentions,just get MRC Brilliance dual mode decoders and the MRC Black Box to activate the sounds and you should be fine.Then when you do decide to go DCC no problems. Chris

Yep I have two of them now:mrgreen:.The WSM Yellowstone is in the shops for minor repair,a good cleaning and lube job. Here's a couple more pictures... It's amazing how well it runs and how little wheel wear it has for being built in 1959! Chris

It's not perfect,the paint is a bit rough and no lights plus #234 had the Elesco FWH not the Worthington FWH,but it runs very well which is the most important thing.I was thinking of re-motoring it with a can motor,but I'm not sure that is necessary after test driving it.Anyways,for what I paid...
