Cars equipped with MT trucks roll with less resistance than any others that I have seen in the 30 plus years that I have been modeling N-scale and their couplers are the best in the industry.

From a cost stand point you can not beat Atlas track for quality, I used Atlas code 55 on my layout but there are considerations with their code 55. One must use equipment with low profile wheel flanges but I think that it s the most realistic looking for the money. Going DCC on any size layout...

It could be that some one before you has already ordered this gear in that case perhaps NWSL has the blanks & program for cutting it. I would think if that is the case the cost may be less?

Contact Northwest Shortline they are good at helping and if you do not have the ability to provide the detailed gear info you can send them the bad gear so that they can make one. The only draw back is that if it is a special it may cost more than you expect as they make the special gears by...

One option that you have is to contact Bachmann for authorizationyand return it to them. Bachmann has the best warranty program of any manufacture.

If the Atlas track is only 20 years old it would be Nickle silver not brass I have been using Atlas track since 1972 and back then it was nickle silver.
