I doubt it. Installing Ubuntu ( or any other Linux distro ) will wipe your entire partition. Most Linux applications have hidden directories where data are stored. When I reinstall Ubuntu I make a copy of the hidden directory .evolution so I at least don't loose my emails. I don't have an...
