    Chris being as I have never seen traction in real life and stringing all those spider webs over my track doen't look like a whole lot of fun, I'd say you are right in my saying no from way down here in the snow :thumb: . I'm not knocking traction mind you, it's just not for me. :)

    Searching for model

    Peter it appears to be several different kits that were used to make the diorama. The picture needs to be bigger to be able to see some of the details, this would make it easier to indentify the kits. Knowing what scale would also be a help.

    Not likely he will tire of it, he spent years having it built. BTW he did about 100% of the scenery and laid some of the track, made pretty much all the decisions about what goes where design wise. If you read the book I think you find he has had this thing for trains his whole life, he didn't...
