I use the cyano technique for tires..allows you to "round" over the edges for a nice translation fro tread to side-wall. Also for any hinge or pivot joints, such as tail-gates and door hinges... "plasticizes" them to stand up to being moved around a lot... I don't cover the whole thing in it...

When I was upgrading drives, I could have sworn that you could use a drive greater than 2tb for OS...Wrong! It still won't use anything above a 2tb. So I went a grabbed 2-2tb drives, one for OS and another for overflow...Damn things are filling up fast... even though I have most of the progs on...

Yep! That is another time where you need to cut off those tabs! Far better to us printer pape and lap it over the joints and get them tight...it also won't add the double thickness which just makes a smooth surface look layered, and after the glue has dried you can use what-ever burnish tool you...

Have you printed any of this yet? In the PDF, by the time all the layers are loaded the parts turn solid black...so was wondering...there is the folder of SVG's so can be changed...as far as I remember .SVG format does not allow transparency to be saved as a PDF, so that might be a problem...
