Glad I could help! Show us some pictures when you've got it rebuilt (:

    Lift Bridge

You'll need to raise the point of hinge above the tracks so that they separate as the bridge hinges up. Perhaps this link will help (: http://www.all-model-railroading.co.uk/forum/showpost.php?p=92853&postcount=57

    St. Louis **HEAVY PICS**

I'm hoping to get a D80 this year to replace my N80. I don't think I put 30 rolls of film through that camera - a real shame because it's really nice. Before I bought the N80 I got a 5MP Sony Cybershot. It's very small and light - good for the backpacking and extensive traveling that I do. The...

    St. Louis **HEAVY PICS**

Thanks! I'm rather proud of the shadow picture (: I use Photoshop to balance the colors. Image > Adjustments > Auto Levels. Sometimes I play with the colors manually. Sometimes I play with the Brightness / Contrast manually. Mostly I just hit the Auto Levels, though ;) As far as the angle...

    St. Louis **HEAVY PICS**

This is my favorite personal picture of the Arch, taken October `04. And here is a good picture of the tracks showing how nearby they are and the tunnel system.

How do I get 2 locos to run at same time

It's really not as difficult as you may think. Basically you're just giving yourself the ability to control the power in certain zones of the track, rather than the whole track at the same time. With a little more effort you can even choose between multiple power packs to power each zone. The...

    Surprise, surprise

I'm using an electric toothbrush these days and everytime I paste it up and flick it on I start thinking about all the wonderful uses for that high RPM motor (:

    Prepairing to begin again

I thought that too ;) But after all, it was me behind the camera. I watched her like a hawk until she left the room.

    Prepairing to begin again

More fun with Sketchup. Haven't done anything in the real room. It's nice to see how all the work is going to look when (if?) it gets completed. This just took me a few hours, though I'm pretty proficient with Sketchup already.

    Steamtown?

After looking at the Strasburg website I'd say there's quite a bit more to do there. But I've been to Steamtown and I have to say, it's a polished operation.

    Steamtown?

I've been to Steamtown and not Strasburg, so I have no comparison to give you, but Steamtown was really cool. (:

    Wireless Video Camera

I don't think you're going to find everything you need for $50. You'll need a micro camera, radio transmitter and receiver, and something to output to. I think the Train Buddy option is about as good as it's going to get, which is actually $67.48.

Why we see so many coal trains

I know it's pretty insignificant in the grand scheme but sometimes I wonder if displacing that much mass has any impact on Earth's rotation / revolution. As a comparison, though, the Moon shifts trillions of tons of ocean water four times a day. So maybe all this coal being moved a couple...
