    First model help

Not that this is scratched or bashed. It does have some weathering done even though it is hard to tell because of lighting. Here is the "office" just dropped in. Thanks for the help.

    First model help

Ok, I have finally gotten the cornerstone Interstate Fuel kit. It has been a long time since I have built any models and I didn't know what some "secrets" where to have a good looking model. I have only looked at what is in the box and have already picked out pieces that I will paint before...

    Digital Camera Poll

re sony dcs s75 when I bought it it was $400, then you got to add memory, which I would recommend looking on Ebay for. I paid probably $60 for a 64mb memory stick when I bought my camera at Best Buy (electronic superstore). Then I wanted to make sure on my last vacation that I would not have to...

    Weathering Track

re I was in your boat not too long ago. Here is a pic of what I used. I run HO and I use the medium size. I took the applicator out and then used my xacto on it. That way it didn't get all over the ties and ballast but it worked well because it did hit the tie spike heads, close to what the...

    digital cameras

re I have a Sony Cybershot, I think the model is DCS S75. I think it really depends on how much money you want to spend and how good the quality of the picture you want. You can use any any digital camera to send or put pictures on the internet. I'm sure some of the resident photo experts can...

    Ebayers can be pretty stupid

re Hello, My name is RaiderCTE and I'm an Ebayholic. I'm at about 70 on the old feedback so I would guess that I have had close to 100 transactions. Both buying and selling. I would also say that I am notorious for waiting till the last second to bid, sometimes I have bid already other times...

    Track Cleaning

re Without getting another long thread going, I have found that using a sanding pad has done well for me. I didn't have any goop, I do have lots of T shirts, and I had one of those sponge like rectangle pads with two different grades of sandpaper attached. I use the lightest grade and barely...

    proto 2k reviews needed

re that's were my problem is. I have a couple tight 18" turns on inclines. After laying the track and roadbed, I tested, then tweaked. Everything was ok. I then did some work to filling in between tracks for the base of scenery. Went back and had to adjust again because of either the roadbed or...

    proto 2k reviews needed

I have had to sell off a couple athearn sd-40's because they were to hard to keep on some of my tight curves. I am looking at the Proto 2000, gp 30's. How do proto 2k's run compared to an athearn? motor noise, and reliablity are what i am looking to improve if possible without breaking the bank...

    Painting the backscene

re Since I should not hold a brush no matter what size it is, what would be a recommended backdrop color or mix. As seen in my pic in the fstop thread my walls are going to need some help. If nothing else a coat of paint put on with a roller. That I can handle.
