    Not a bad first build. This is how you would improve it. The roof should over-lap at the edges. You should cut the boards straighter and not work them so much. They look whittled, and you want to try and stay away from that. Less hued, more saw cut like. If you are going for a hued look...

    Build yourself some line sheds. You know. Those little sheds that stand by switches and such. These would be small structures, easy to compleat and can always find a home somewhere on the layout. TrainClown ;)
