Ok, finally got some more progress done today. I got everything covered in sculptamold and some rock castings attached. I think im about ready to attempt painting the river bed, If anyone has any tips or suggestions, please feel free to let me know. Thanks!:wave:

Hello everyone, im to the point on my bridge scene that i need to think about how to cover the bed in order to make it appear as a shallow western river. I have bought the WS talis rocks in several sizes to simulate boulders and rip rap, but im not sure how to cover the bottom of the river bed...

Hello everyone, just wondering..... Do most of you out there use Sculptamold to cover your scenery? Im useing WS Plaster cloth and then putting sculptamold on top of that, is this a good idea or do i really need to do it this way? Thanks for the help...

Thanks Josh, and yes, the banks kinda turned out ok! It is newspapers and tape as well as extruded foam and cardboard strips. I just hope it turns out as well as i plan. Thanks again for the positive comments. steve:thumb:

Thanks everyone for the kind comments, they really make a person feel good about his or her work. As far as scale, yes, its HO scale and the foam came from my local Home Depot here in W.va. Thanks again and i hope to have some more progress pics later tonight.:wave:

Hello, does anyone know if any company sales a river backdrop? The reason being, if you look at my other post about the bridge im installing, i dont really have the room to curve and hide the back of it, so im thinking maybe i can find a backdrop of a river bed and build my river to match it...
