    G.E.C's Northeast Corridor

Thanks for taking the time to address my concerns, as I just went through all the building of benchwoork to track, and I know that my 9X12 layout has more than $1100.00 into it, and that isn't anything other than modules with track on it! lol sign1 It kinda scared me when I stepped back and...

    G.E.C's Northeast Corridor

Well first of all, WOW! That's quite an undertaking. A Layout that size would at least, only wood, nuts and bolts, track, cork, with NO scenery will probably cost upwards of $1500.00, easily more. Just a thought. As for operation, it leaves me wanting for some more mainline run, as I dislike...

    Ballast-Scenery Conflicting Info

Looks like you could use some greenery, try this for excellent results! Making Grass Clumps from Faux Fur I'm so sick of WS "grass" I could cry, when are people going to realize it doesn't look like grass, but just green clumpy foam?

    Union Pacific Modelers...

CP and CN have showed alot of interest, and BNSF already uses the battery-diesel engine hybrid units. Up is I think the most prevalent user of the new "green" locomotives. I must admit, UPY 2005 is my favorite BY FAR, due to it's resemblance to an ALCo C-415. That one's very cool too! It...

    Wanted Vanderbilt Oil Tender.

Wayne, I already own two MDC Vanderbilts, and I find them a bit wanting in the detail dept. They're ok. I had no Idea that they made them w/o circut boards! Do you have a link for that? Thanks for the information! :)

    What makes a layout "realistic"?

Hmm, I would beg to differ, although not all steam engines had such embellishments, I would bet that with those types of cylinder heads, it would have at the very least been built of brass, painted or unpainted. As for the other brass bits I mentioned, they exist, not only for embellishment, but...

    Wanted Vanderbilt Oil Tender.

I'm looking to modernize my fleet of steam locomotives and I need two or three Vanderbilt oil tenders. I need the 4-axle bachmanns from their 0-6-0 line. Also might consider their 6 axle oil tenders. I will consider the older ones without electrical pickup and the new DCC-ready ones as well...

    This Bridge and Roadbed?

would expect a older date for it, but you must admit that's it's a rarely modeled detail that would add intrest to an otherwise bland bridge. Is it just the lighting, or is your brown earth tone REALLY gray? Great to see so much progress, when's the tour?
