Additional step, and my solution for plastic/paper bonds. I've secured the wires using insulation tape, which is of course, plastic. Using some plastic model glue I've paper strips over the insulation tape. As you can see it's discoloured due to the model glue. But when the part is glued on I...
If you look at the template there are strips that are glued inside the part, looks like tabs but you get the look of a strip joint.
