Has anyone tried modeling broad gauge in N? There are a range of possibles: 5'3", 5'6", 7'0.25" etc. The last of these (e.g. Brunel's 7 foot broad gauge in England) would look most impressive...! sign1

If you do decide to start over, then you may be able to sell the original to recoup a small amount of money to help start the new one. The Model Rail press often has ads from people wishing to sell layouts. Or, as noted elsewhere, you could donate to a suitable organization.

General opinion from n-scale Yahoo group also is that this is way too high. Anyway - if anyone is tempted I saw it in the second hand section of N Scale Supply's website

Hi -:wave: do y'all think $100.00 a good price for a Kato built Con Cor U-50, second hand? Noted as good condition, good runner, some signs of wear. It's old enough to be sporting rapido couplers which'll have to be changed, of course! In SP scarlet and gray. :thumb:
