I THOUGHT SO! But why are they black? That class of car was never done in black. You only need two more to run an official miniquad, not three.

That spectrum loco is prabably pretty big, anyone here sure that it will make a 4x8'? Anyway, not much to add to the advice given, Im only a few years really into modelrailroading so here is what I can add to other peoples comments. Walthers kits- my favorrite, they have the widest variety of...

    runaway trains in yard

Well they dont roll out of thae yard to a point where they can fall. I think I will just try leveling it out. But I got to thinking that I could put a small screw in the bottom of my ore cars that came out the bottom and pushed down on an axle to act like a brake, but Im not that ambitious.

    runaway trains in yard

My layout is not on level ground, and Ive done so much as to lift legs 6" to level it out, and its still not perfectly level. In the yard is the main spot. I pride myself in maintaining a good freight car fleet, which means they have a tendency to attemt to make the soutbound departure trip on...

Could someone point me in the direction of the exit?

I read the thread, and it did come off a litle smart assish to me, but the problem with online forums, is that you cant tell facial expressions or tone of voice, many times a :p, is often meant as a , which can cause a lot of , or in instances like this, some :curse:. Shrug...

    WS Realistic Water

Do you have a hot glue gun? if you use clear glue sticks youd never know it was there. Make sure you cover any future plastercloth with a second coat of something. I use plaster patch or joint compound because I have it laying around.

    WS Realistic Water

I recently poured a river. I painted the bed with craft paints, but on the backs to the side made out of the pink insulation, the "water" wicked up into the foam. If you are simply poring it ponto foam (it sounds like it) try covering it in plaster patch or something like that (sculpamold) and...

    Super trees

It is very fragile. But I love working with it so far. It has brief instructions that say to use the matte medium as a sealant. It says that if you want a painted trunk, simply paint it before doing the other steps, so Id assume that the paint will seal it also.

How about a scale vehicle thread

I like to be like that, but now that I drive a 3/4 ton truck that gets 13mpg on a GOOD day, Ive learned that until I get a job, if I want to keep driving I need to save money.
