I did my leman russ solely on 250g paper, but I see that laminating with thicker card board brings out some of the features better. What do you plan to do with the white edges of the cardboard ?

There a number of advantages to using a dark background, such as energy saving and softer for the eyes to read. Imho, I like the grey letters better because the contrast is softer. When there is a lot of white text, I find it harder to read.

Thank you for the complements. I must admit that his is my first warhammer model, and that the gun when assembled surprised me due to is huge length. This was also my first experience with layering and it was fun. To be continued ...

Good idea. I've just finished a leman russ and I added a cross shaped form to serve as internal strengthener, but if you don't measure it right, it will show in the finished model.

I though I'd give a try for a warhammer build. I like the retro-look of the tanks with multiple turrets, so I started with a Leman Russ. Here are some pictures of the building process. Enjoy!

The mechwarrior is a nice build. I always find it hard to make a model that stands on two feed standup straight. Looks like you hit the nail on the head with this one.

Talk about dedication ! After seeing your work, I'll need to crunch up my skill level a lot more before ever attempting to build this model ...

Nice job. I like the way the APC looks like it has seen battle, but still in good shape. It totally fits this model.

Intermezzo I'm waiting for weights to insert in the feet of the wolf to stablise it and to get a better overall posture. In the meantime, I build this tank (my first tank :mrgreen:): the infamous Tiger II (SD)

I'm always surprised how fast one can build these models. It would take me weeks to complete one model such as the Viper, not the 12hrs you have spend one it. Great job !

I think it would at a very nice touch to an already great model.
