    Lauan ply framework construction

Ha oc, Speaking as a carpenter and builder, 1/4 plywood of any type won't hold a fastener in the end grain and is way to flexable for the frame of such a layout. might be ok for subroadbed but I'd use 1/2 min. As for your frame, 3/4" plywood ripped to 3 1/2" would be my first choise or 1x4...

what glue to use to glue track to roadbed

Ha emt, I like the caulk MJ said. Use some tacks to hold the track until it dries. As for your yard, you can lay the track directly on the foam and save some cash. Use some shims to go from roadbed to no roadbed. That little uphill to the mainline is something real yards and sidings have to...

    laying curve track to lean

JD, The "lean" is to keep the load even on both rails in a high speed turn. Like a banked turn on a race track. On a flat curve the weight would shift to the outside rail, and a passenger would be pulled that way also.

    What's with all graffiti?

So Identitty, Let me see if I got this straight. You find a two year old thread about grafitti and deside you need to join the gauge so you can tell the people that were talking about grafitti in 2003 that they need to relaxe and start thinking. and to defend a bunch of vandals that you call...
